On May 8 Alumni Deusto Business School of the University of Deusto organised a conference on Design Thinking as a way of innovation in products and services. Jon Santacoloma, from Ideilan, made an introduction on the concept of design: what it is, how to apply it and how design is the driving force of Design Thinking. He analyzed the process that leads us to develop products and services differently and what they have in common. He also spoke about the different ways to make a solution tangible. Products are not always the solution but can be translated into new businesses, new services or into the regeneration of the exisiting. Santacoloma put forward a new model of Open Design.
