Dr. Igor Santos. 29 years. PhD in Computer Science. MSc in Information Security. Head Researcher and Director of the S3lab - DeustoTech-Computing research unit. S3lab focuses on Systems Security and Applied Artificial Intilligence. Dr Santos is particulary an expert on malware detection, content filtering, natural language processing, information retrieval methods, opinion mining, and applied machine learning. He is Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Deusto, where he has lectured undergraduate, postgraduate and doctorate courses and supervised 4 PhD students with sucess in his areas of interest. He has written over 80 peer-reviewed research articles in international conferences and indexed journals. His work has provided him an h-index of 12, being one of the top cited authors at his area and at his age. He is also regular scientific committee member of top-tier international conferences such as DEXA, CISIS, HAIS, SOCO, IAS or IDEAS.
