CECILIA MARTÍNEZ ARELLANO holds a Ph.D. in Human Rights from the University of Deusto and a degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Zaragoza. She has a long professional experience in areas such as logistics and production, management systems, strategic planning, and organizational development. She is currently a professor at the University of Deusto, Bilbao, and Donostia San Sebastian campuses and a member of the Center for Applied Ethics (CEA) research team. She teaches the subject of Civic and Professional Ethics in different degrees at the Deusto Business School and the Faculty of Engineering. In postgraduate courses, she has taught the subjects of Processes of Ethical Development and Business Ethics in the Expert in Ethical Management. In addition, she coordinates “Diréctica,” a community of ethical learning of the CEA, formed by academics and people in management functions in Basque organizations. Her research focuses on organizational ethics, corporate citizenship, and organizational development.
