    Studying online at Deusto

    Teaching-Learning Model

    Active learning experience in which you are the key player

    At your own pace and without timetables so that you can combine your status with your work and personal life

    A friendly environment and technological and teaching resources to help you develop your professional skills

    You will have the constant support of the academic staff We are close to you 

    You will have an online environment in which to learn and interact. You will also be able to participate in extracurricular activities

    In addition to your online experience, you can come to our on site campuses and make use of our facilities and services (library and study spaces, sports centre, cultural activities...)


    Academic calendar

    From September to July (regular exam sitting) or September (resit exams). Some flexibility may be allowed in the beginning.



    Students can complete the the master’s course at their own pace, whether on a full-time or part-time basis.

    Assessment of competence acquisition

    Teaching methods


    The assessment strategy for the different modules will take into account the following:

    • The development of competences, in order to know the students’ progress and to introduce improvements during the process (continuous assessment).
    • Its result indicates the level of acquisition of the required competences.

    Assessment will be based on valid and appropriate information and evidence to evaluate the degree of achievement of the required competences. The different activities and assessment processes provided by the plataforma ALUD will be used as a source of reference for this purpose.

    A number of different sources will be used:

    • Teaching staff, students and other techniques
    • Objective tests
    • Conceptual maps
    • Case-studies, problem-solving
    • Self-assessment of knowledge, abilities, skills, attitudes that will help to evaluate the level of achievement of the required competences.

    As it is an online programme, students can study at their own pace and can enrol on the Master´s degree on a full-time (two semesters) or part-time (four semesters) basis.
