The need to innovate in the health sector to ensure its sustainability, together with the urgency of generational change and the lack of professionalisation, provide a unique opportunity if you want to enter a sector experiencing continual growth.
This master's degree will give you an in-depth knowledge of the health system and its complexity:
Participants will also analyse the main challenges facing health systems and discuss the definition of future health strategies .
In addition to the solid knowledge acquired in the theoretical part, a differential aspect of the Master’s degree in Health Management is the 6-month internship that the student will carry out in public or private organisations, linked to a management project selected by the organisation and on which the student will carry out the Master's Final Project.
In short, participants will acquire new knowledge and new skills to be able to become health managers with leadership capacities and to contribute with a vision of the future to the evolution of health services.
Classes take place on Mondays and Wednesdays from 16:00 to 20:00. If you are currently employed, during the master’s degree you will carry out an improvement project supervised by our academic staff for the organisation in which you are currrenly working.
If you are not currently employed, you will combine the master's degree classes with an internship in public or private companies in the health or social-health sector.

It is not necessary to have professional experience, although it is considered an added value for those who provide it.
The Master is also aimed at participants who are working in the health sector.
We follow the Deusto education model, in which you will be at the centre of the teaching-learning process.
You will attend theoretical presentations in the classroom combined with the analysis of real company cases: role playing, simulations, company visits...
Throughout your studies you will have a team of lecturers, coordinators and support staff of great human quality.
You will have a long-term professional practice placement (6 months) in public or private companies in the health or social-health sector.
If you are working in a healthcare organisation, you will carry out an improvement project in your organisation during the Master's degree, supervised by a lecturer from Deusto Business School.
They will share with you their success stories, situations they are facing, difficulties they have in their daily lives... bringing their reality closer to the classroom.
