The Institute of Drug Dependencies examines the skills for life model as a basis for drug abuse prevention

On 7 and 8 June, the Deusto Institute of Drug Dependencies will be holding a course entitled ?Prevención del consumo de drogas basada en el modelo de habilidades para la vida. Cómo diseñar e implementar programas?. The aim of this course is to examine the skills for life model as a conceptual basis for drug prevention programmes. Lecturer Hilario Garrudo, psychologist and expert in skills for life and in work with adolescents and families, will be giving this course this afternoon at 16:00 pm. This seminar is based on presentations and teamwork. It aims to provide an approach to the skills for life model, to know the characteristics of preventive programmes based on this model, and to examine the effectiveness of these programmes.
