On 10, 11, 12 and 13 May, a group of 25 students of the Master in Business Administration with specialisation in Innovation Management of the Swiss University of SUPSI, will visit the Bilbao campus of Deusto Business School in order to learn about the main features and tools used by the Basque Country in terms of innovation and transformation of the territory.
The programme includes the participation of Deusto Business School professors Tontxu Campos, Ekhi Atutxa, James Wilson and Ricardo Aguado.
On Wednesday, participants will have the opportunity to meet Luis Manero, Director of Business Innovation at Innobasque: the Basque Innovation Agency, and Luis Fano and Erlea Holdago, CEO and Head of Marketing and Product at Alfa Hogar. Through real cases, both will show the model applied by Innobasque to promote and implement innovation processes in the Basque business fabric, with a special focus on Small and Medium Enterprises.
On Thursday, Jorge Navarro, founder of the "boutique" marketing agency TOB (Thinking outside the Bottle) and the Itsamendi winery, will give them an insight into the design and implementation of innovation processes in a sector as particular as winemaking.
On Friday, they will meet Lourdes Moreno, CEO and owner of Bolueta Engineering Group, who will share with the group the products and services they offer in order to improve their clients' processes and contribute to the promotion and materialisation of innovation in them.
In a complementary way and with the aim of acquiring a close knowledge of the Basque reality, during their stay, they will also have the opportunity to visit the Automotive Intelligence Center (AIC), the Advanced Aeronautical Manufacturing Centre (CFAA), the cultural and creative initiative ZAWP (Zorrozaure Art Work in Progress) and the Guggenheim Museum. These initiatives are well known for their contribution to the transformation and innovation of the territory on different scales.
