Reading Comprehension activities

A range of authentic texts, will be used to develop the learner’s ability to understand and process written information.
Texts may include newspaper and magazine articles, essays interviews and fiction.
Tasks will include multiple choice, gapped texts and multiple matching exercises
 

Writing Activities

Students will learn how to produce both informal and formal letters articles, essays, information sheets, brochures, reports, proposals, reviews and character references based on information supplied.

Special attention will be paid to learning how to understand gist, opinions, attitude and specific information. Learners will be require to complete a variety of tasks including, multiple choice, sentence completion and multiple matching.
 

Speaking Actitivites

Students will be required to participate actively in class. They will learn how to express themselves correctly in different situations including class discussions, individual discourse and pair work. They will learn how to express agreement and disagreement with opinions given.
