The new Erasmus + program is part of the Europe 2020, Education and Training 2020 and Rethinking Education strategies, including all the education, training, youth and sport initiatives. Within the education area it covers all levels: school, vocational training, higher education and adult education. Erasmus + will include the existing programs in the Lifelong Learning Program as well as the international higher education programs: Mundus, Tempus, ALFA, Edulink and bilateral programs, in addition to the Youth in Action Program.
With a clear commitment for internationalization and opening beyond the borders of the UE, this new program focuses both on formal and informal learning, in order to improve people’s training and educational capacities with regard to the employability of students, teachers and workers.
