The two departments make an effort to allow students to study a good many credits in Basque and/or English.
The option to study subjects in Basque and/or English is taken annually. Students who opt for one language (Basque or English) must enrol in all subjects offered in a particular course in their chosen language for that year.
Basque (optional) | English (optional) |
---|---|
If you wish, you have the possibility to obtain 84 ECTS over the five years of the degrees in the Basque language. If you pass 72 credits in Basque you will be entitled to the corresponding certificate for fluency in that language. | In all the subjects, much of the literature is in English, and during your degree studies you will have various opportunities to improve your fluency in this language. You can choose to study some of the modules in English and also pursue other activities, such as conferences and seminars, in that language. |
Required English level
Two levels of fluency in English have been established that students have to attain at two different moments during their degree:
Level B2 |
---|
For access to the first year of the MBA + Computer Engineering degree. Students can demonstrate their fluency at this level with a pass in the Cambridge University First Certificate exam, or a similar qualification. Students not in possession of any such accreditation will have to pass an English test on the day of their admissions test. |
Level C1 for general and business English |
---|
It must be attained before graduating in Business Management and Administration + Computer Engineering. Students must demonstrate their fluency at this level with a pass in the Cambridge University Certificate of Advanced English - or a similar qualification - if they are to avoid the department’s internal test. |
