H2020-AURORAL is present along the #EURegionsWeek

 

 The 19th edition of EURegionsWeek under the heading ‘Together for Recovery’ is ready to take off virtually (11-14 October). Over 300 sessions will be dedicated to the following thematic hubs: Cohesion, Green transition, Digital transition, and Citizens' engagement.

The European Week of Regions and Cities (#EURegionsWeek) is an annual four-day event in which cities and regions showcase their capacity to create growth and jobs, implement European Union cohesion policy, and prove the importance of the local and regional level for good European governance. Over the last 18 years, this event has proven to do much to promote policy learning and the exchange of good practices.

H2020-AURORAL project, financed by the European Commission, is present along the #EURegionsWeek. H2020-AURORAL Stand will be presented during the whole week at the Exhibitor Pitch.

AURORAL (Architecture for United Regional and Open digital ecosystems for Smart Communities and wider Rural Areas Large scale application) is a four-year project with 25 partners from 10 European Countries. The University of Deusto participates actively as a partner in the Auroral Project. In particular, Deusto is the leading partner for the Work Package 3 (Design of an ICT Architecture to ensure interoperability among vertical & horizontal services through a marketplace in which transactions are secured through DLT and Smart contracting). AURORAL’s overall objective is boosting rural economies through cross-sector digital service platforms, by addressing the technological shortcomings, matching technology and people to produce the desirable impacts. To reach that goal AURORAL focuses on increasing connectivity and delivering a digital environment of smart objects interoperable services platforms able to trigger dynamic rural ecosystems of innovation chains, applications and services.
