The Bilbao City Council, the University of Deusto and the BBK Foundation are collaborating in a study to better understand what young people perceptions about the city and their expectations in matters such as work and housing are. 900 phone interviews will be held in the coming days to young people between 18 and 35 years old.
The study counts with the participation of the Basque Youth Council (EGK) and aims to identify what young people value as important "to make Bilbao an attractive city, offering them he necessary opportunities to develop their life project".
The results will be contrasted with the participants, as well as with representatives of youth organisations. The conclusions will serve to design the "Bilbao Gazte Hiria 2020/23" strategy, which will serve as a tool to give response to one of the city challenges: the social rejuvenation of Bilbao.
