This core group aims at promoting citizens’ engagement in the co-creation process of science. It uses, inter alia, multidisciplinary approaches and action research methodologies to promote social mobilisation and citizens’ empowerment. In particular, it focuses on the analysis of how societal actors, including young people and those at more vulnerable positions, behave, understand, react and interact with science.
