City4Age project results in the spotlight in European Commission newsletter

The main objectives and results of the EU funded project City4Age: Elderly-friendly City services for active and healthy ageing have been presented at the European Commission Digital Single Market Newsletter. The University of Deusto is a partner of the City4Age consortium team, together with research institutes, universities and industry experts from France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Serbia, Spain and the United Kingdom.

The project aims to make cities more age-friendly. It will create innovative ICT tools and services for early detection of risks related to frailty and of Mild Cognitive Impairments (MCI). The services will be tested in several European cities, as well as in Singapore.

City4Age acts as a bridge between the European Innovation Partnerships (EIP) on Smart Cities and Communities, on the one side, and on Active and Healthy Ageing, on the other side, with both EIP's being involved in the project.
