Simona Sokolovska, PHD candidate in the programme of Human Rights: Social, Ethical and Political Challenges and member of Deusto Social Values team, participated with a poster presentation in the 7th Annual Women´s Leadership and Empowerment Conference in Bangkok, Thailand. The poster presented the results of her Master´s Degree work that was focused on the cultural identity of migrant women in Bizkaia, supervised by the professor María Silvestre Cabrera.

 

The conference consisted of three components: Study session on empowerment and women´s leadership, presentation of papers, and gaining and sharing leadership skills through the interaction between academics, researchers and students.
