The COST Action CA18110 Underground4value is issuing a Call for Applications for its third Training School, which will be held in Ayia Napa from February 14 to 18, 2022, hosted by the Cyprus Institute. The training school will deal with innovative approaches to surveys, analyses, monitoring and testing Underground Built Heritage (UBH), foster the uptake of new tools for empowering local communities, as well as for supporting planners and decision-makers.
Alfonso Bahillo, researcher at Deusto Technological Institute Deustotech, is the leader of Working Group 2 Underground Built Heritage Conservation & Monitoring, that pays attention to technologies for UBH non-invasive diagnosis, on-site monitoring tools of the cavities (sensoring) techniques and detailed high-resolution visualisation and reconstruction of the more interesting items of the heritage. The Working Group contributes to the case-studies assessment and to the training school modules.
