DEUSTO participates in an event to discuss the future of the EU innovation landscape

On 05 June 2018, Toñi Caro from the University of Deusto - International Research Projects Office participated in the event organised by the Science|Business Network to discuss the future of the EU innovation landscape.

European Commission Vice-President, Gunther Oettinger, together with other high-level representatives from the European Institutions, Member States, Universities and Business debated the policies and programmes Europe will need for long-term prosperity – across all sectors: health, ICT, manufacturing, energy and regional development. European Commission representatives discussed mission oriented innovation and stressed the importance of reframing the direction of economic growth in alignment with UN’s development goals. Co-creation, co-shaping value and markets should be key priorities of the new EU innovation strategy.
