Our network

With more than 30 years of solid internationalization and a wide consolidated network of partnerships with top international research teams, DEUSTO is aware of the importance of research and the role it plays in economic, social and political development. As such, DEUSTO is present in many significant international networks (i.e., UNESCO, AUSJAL, Humanitarian Net, o IMISCOE, International Association of Higher Education Institutions, European Association of Research and Technological Organisations).

The Spanish Education, culture and Sport Ministry recognised this internal and external collaboration capacity designating DEUSTO as Campus of Excellence through Aristos Campus Mundus. This acknowledgement is testament of the cooperation and networking vocation of our University, which has signed more than 400 cooperation agreements with international Universities and research Centres Research and Science are key actors in today’s society.

As part of DEUSTO Social Impact Strategic Plan, the university fosters participation in networks such as AESIS, RISE or ECREA working towards knowledge transfer and responsible and sustainable innovation. Above this, University of Deusto has a broad net of partner entities and stakeholders and channels joint contributions through networks as CIRIEC or Business Science. Besides, conscious of the challenge of employment , is active in the GARAGERASMUS association to encourage students’ employability.

In addition to all this, University of Deusto has historically pledged for the promotion of excellence in research and the attraction of international talent, and has become a national reference in the MSCA Programme with the DIRS-COFUND project and the coordination of many training networks (ITNs).
