Reflection and debate session on trafficking of women and girls with the purpose of sexual exploitation

The Department of Employment, Social Inclusion and Equality of the Regional Government of Bizkay will hold a session for reflection and debate, focused on trafficking of women and girls for the purpose of sexual exploitation. The session will take place on the 23 September in the library of the University of Deusto (Sala Ellacuría) or online.

The agenda includes:
results of the diagnosis on the difficulties and needs associated to the care of victims and survivors of human trafficking for the purpose of sexual exploitation in Biscay, by two researchers of the University of Deusto (Itziar Gandarias, member of the Gender Interdisciplinary Research Platform and Nerea Layna);
presentation and analysis of good practices in the intervention; and
presentation of the initiatives undertaken by the Regional Government of Biscay in this context.
