The University of Deusto will host on 18-19 November the Cybersecurity for Robotics Conference 2019 (CsfR2019). The event is organised in the context of a series of dissemination events on the latest technology trends in the areas of Cybersecurity, Cyber-Physical Systems, Robotics Engineering, Industrial Control Systems Security , Internet of Things Industrial (IoT), Industry 4.0, 5G communications, Privacy in the exploitation of personal data, or Artificial Intelligence.
In the case of this event, the Cybersecurity for Robotics Conference 2019 aims to show the different specific approaches to improve the cybersecurity of robotics systems, the new “hot topic” of Cybersecurity in the world.
The 2019 Cybersecurity for Robotics Conference comes precisely at a time when the Faculty of Engineering is preparing its new degree in Robotics Engineering to be launched in September 2020. The degree aims to train Robotics specialists, making them capable of addressing the new challenges in automation of production arising from the new trends in robotics, as well as the extraordinarily growing challenges posed by the Fourth Industrial Revolution and the expansion of latest generation technologies, such as Artificial Intelligence and 5G communications.
