The Inspira STEAM project has received one of the STEAM Euskadi Sariak Awards, granted by the Basque Government, in collaboration with the Basque Agency for Innovation-Innobasque, to promote early vocations in science, technology, engineering and mathematics, in connection with the arts and humanities. The other awards have been for the public school San Martín in Vitoria-Gasteiz, Artxandape Ikastola in Bilbao and Elhuyar Fundazioa.
The Inspira STEAM project has been distinguished in the so-called: "Best initiative with a gender perspective promoted by other entities", as it encourages the scientific-technological vocations of Primary Education girls through group mentoring sessions led by professional females in science, technology and innovation, working on those aspects which influence the election of their studies. The Prize is endowed with 3,000 euros, each category, which will be allocated to STEAM actions.
