International seminar on Trafficking in Women and Sexual Violence (17-19 of June)

The University of Deusto in collaboration with the Boston College and Gender Research Institute of Dartmouth College, USA, will held the international seminar on the trafficking in women and sexual violence in the library CRAI during the next days 17, 18 and 19 of June.

The objective of this seminar is to address the reality of an illegal trafficking in human beings, particularly of women and girls and their sexual exploitation, from a transnational and interdisciplinary perspective.For this purpose both American and Spanish experts and activists will meet students in Bilbao from three different universities in order to create a debate and awareness of this global phenomenon by analyzing multiple factors that make the trafficking in women one of the most abhorrent forms of human exploitation and at the same time one of the most profitable illegal business of the 21st century.Further info: http://agenda.deusto.es/seminario-internacional-sobre-trafico-de-mujeres-y-violencia-sexual/
