The H2020 Waste4Think project was presented at the International Solid Waste Association Congress

The Horizon 2020 Waste4Think project, funded by the European Commission and coordinated by the University of Deusto, was presented at the International Solid Waste Association (ISWA) Congress as a model of Circular Economy in waste management.

The ISWA world congress is a global meeting where waste management professionals, government officials, industry leaders, policy makers, scientists and young professionals meet to exchange views and opinions to advance scientific and technical knowledge for sustainable solid waste management. The last edition of ISWA world congress that was held in Bilbao from 7 to 9 October 2019 addressed the latest scientific and technical innovations for a sustainable management of solid urban waste.

The Waste4Think project

The Waste4Think project seeks to design solutions based on the use of information and communication technologies that would enable the improvement of all waste management stages. It adopts a global approach and focuses on citizen participation in order to build more sustainable and eco-friendly cities.
