A new European project with the participation of the University of Deusto has started this week. The ToNoWaste project, funded by the European Commission within the 9th Framework Programme for Research and Innovation Horizon Europe, officially started on September 1st. Deusto Faculty of Engineering, together with another 20 institutions from 7 countries, will collaborate for the next 4 years to overcome food waste challenge with a multi-stakeholder and interdisciplinary approach that considers not only agronomic, economic, environmental and business model challenges, but also other cross-cutting aspects such as psychology, law and social innovation to fight also against gender and social inequalities. Universitat Jaume I (UJI) coordinates the project.
