Three DEUSTO ageing and wellbeing research projects analysed with the Social Impact Licensing methodology

On 7-8 November 2018, researchers of DEUSTO Interdisciplinary Research Platform met with the Social Impact Licensing Agency to assess the Societal Impact of their research projects.

The Social Impact Licensing Agency helps research organisations to explore and expand the societal value-creation potential of their projects to solve important social and environmental challenges.

Three different DEUSTO projects have been chosen for this first pilot exercise:

  • Rehacop, an integrative cognitive rehabilitation programme based on the restauration, compensation and optimisation principles of cognitive functions;
  • apps for prevention of mental health and cardiovascular diseases;
  • device for diagnosis and follow-up of the state of pressure ulcers.
