DEUSTO Interdisciplinary research team meets with SOST H2020 Programme Officer to discuss the funding opportunities in the area of security research

On 7 February 2019, an interdisciplinary research team of the University of Deusto met with Marina Martinez, Horizon 2020 Programme Officer in the Spanish Office for Science and Technology (SOST) in Brussels.

The meeting was organised by the International Research Project Office of the University of Deusto and gathered together researchers from the Faculty of Law (David Rojo), the Faculty of Engineering (Borja Sanz, Iker Pastor) and the Faculty of Social and Human Sciences (Cristina Churuca). The meeting also counted with the participation of a representative of Guardia Civil.

Marina Martinez presented Horizon 2020 Work Programme Secure societies – Protecting freedom and security of Europe and its citizens and discussed with participants the funding opportunities for the upcoming years in the area of security research.
