    Does your research, transfer or consulting project have an impact on society? Does it generate a positive impact on the social environment? Does it contribute to social transformation and change?

    If so, we encourage you to apply for the Deusto Research Social Impact Seal. The University of Deusto is going to launch the next call 2022 by opening the digital application platform on March 25.


    This proposal is among the initiatives that the University of Deusto launches each year with the aim of promoting, valuing and reporting the transformative potential of its research in society.


    Benefits provided by the Deusto Research Social Impact Seal:

     

    • Dissemination of the projects in different formats, either by publishing them in the DEUSTO Social Impact Briefings collection or through the production of video-storytellings.
    • Access to the annual call for the UD-Santander Award "Research with scientific and social impact". This award aims to recognize and reward the research of the teams according to their impact with an economic endowment (7,500 € and, additionally, a second prize of 2,500 € may be awarded.) that finances research actions, such as; promotion of impact publications and international theses, attendance to conferences, mobility stays, training of the research team, acquisition of specialized equipment or other expenses related to research. Obtaining the seal is a requirement for accessing this opportunity.. (For more information, please consult the terms and conditions).
    • Accreditation granted by the University of Deusto that recognizes and rewards research excellence with social impact.
    • Visibility on the Deusto Research website, in the Social Impact section, on the websites of the teams, on the Interdisciplinary Platforms and on social networks; and the possibility of publishing a showcase.

    The deadline for submitting applications for the Social Impact seal will be May 6, 2022. The expected resolution date will be June 20, 2022. These deadlines are coordinated with the annual call for the UD-Santander award to facilitate submission.
