Deusto’s commitment to society
One of the main conclusions of the Conference was that one mission of today’s Universities is being agents of social change and that this mission should be developed with more courage and conviction. At the University of Deusto this mission is achieved not only through education and training, but also through research and transfer activities. Deusto research pursues an impact beyond academia and focuses on the transformation of today’s society, leading to fairer and more diverse societies, where inclusive social development and welfare are enhanced.
