Arantza Arruti Gómez holds a BA in Pedagogy and a PhD in Philosophy and Educational Sciences (Pedagogy section) from the University of Deusto. She is currently Lecturer at the University of Deusto, where she teaches at the Bilbao campus.Arantza teaches BA courses on Primary Education (PE) and Social Education (SE) and MA on Lifelong learning (MA LLL), Leisure Projects Direction (MUDIPRO), Conferences, Events and Fairs Management (MUOCEF) and PhD on Leisure and Human Development. Specifically, she teaches the following subjects: PE: General Didactics (Basque) and Social Sciences and its Didactic I (Basque) ; SE: Social Education Program Planning (Basque); (MA LLL): Student-centred learning model (SCL) (English); MUDIPRO: Leisure social and economic context: analysis of recreational dimension; PhD: Environmental friendly (environmental and ecological) dimension of leisure: nature as external leisure spaces; MUDIPRO and MUOCEF: Entrepreneurship and creativity.Her publications mainly focus on sustainable leisure education, environmental education and entrepreneurship. During the past few years she has carried out research on these topics.Arantza is part of the recognised eDucaR research team. Other research interests include motivation, teamworking, entrepreneurship, teacherpreneur, entrepreneurshipo education, innovation and creativity.
