Spanish Language and Culture for Teachers.

General Information

 

In the summer of 2021 CIDE offers two courses, one on-site and one on-line,the courses are aimed at teachers of Spanish as a foreign language in the U.S.A. and Canada in general, teachers in bilingual, immersion and Spanish-for-native-speakers programs, grades K-12, and Community College teachers. Participants need to have at least a B1 level of Spanish.

 

Program: Experience Spanish Language and Culture: New Resources for the Classroom (on-site).

Dates: From July 7th to July 28th, 2021, three-week course (60 hours course)

Schedule: Four hours per day Monday through Friday, in the morning. Some cultural and complementary activities will be held in the evening and on weekends.

Number of Participants per Group: Groups between 15 and 25 participants.

Certificate: The University of Deusto provides all participants who have attended at least a 90 % of the scheduled classes with an attendance certificate and an academic transcript. US participants will be provided information on graduate credit transfer procedures.

 

Program: Discover Spain: resources for teaching language and culture (on-line).

Dates: July 1-22, 2021. Deadline for the final assignment: July 27, 2021.

Schedule: A schedule will be established for the synchronous sessions adapted to the time zones of the participants.

Number of participants per group: Groups between 12 and 25 students.
