Global objective

The Master’s degree in Law and Legal Practice (official Spanish diploma) is taught jointly by the University of Deusto and the Pedro Ibarreche Legal Practice School of the Biscay Bar Association.

The collaboration between these institutions guarantees value added for students thanks to the means and experience of the Bar Association members.

This combination ensures that our graduates:

  • Know how to choose the best alternative for action, by following a systematic process
  • Are fully responsible for the scope and results of the option chosen

  • Exercise their self confidence and initiative in responsible effective decision making in complex situations
  • Demonstrate the autonomy required to take part in research projects
  • Participate in scientific or technology projects within a thematic field

  • Find solutions to problems through alternative methods to legal proceedings
