BA in Law from the Autonomous University of Madrid. She passed the qualifying exams to enter the judiciary, and served as a Judge at the Court of First Instance no. 3 in Durango; Judge of the examining court no. 4 and violence against women court in Barakaldo; Judge of the Examining Court no. 3 of Alcalá de Henares. She is currently Judge of the Court of Violence against Women no. 5 of Madrid. She is co-director of a course on the development of Organic Law 1/2004, on the Comprehensive Protection of Gender Violence at the Spanish General Council of the Judiciary. International counsellor of the General Council of the Judiciary in Panama for the procedural treatment of victims of violence against women in the Panamanian criminal procedure. She has been an international counsellor in Honduras, where she has lectured on violence against women issues at the Judicial School of Honduras. She is also a lecturer on the Practicum at the Faculty of Law in Alcalá de Henares.
