    Deusto's San Sebastian campus celebrates its 50th anniversary

    On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the University of Deusto in Donostia-San Sebastian, last Thursday, 31 August, the presentation of the book "Campus de Mundaiz. 50 años de universidad en San Sebastián" was held in the Kutxa assembly hall.Written by Juan Manuel Díaz de Guereñu, head of the Communication Department at the University of Deusto, and with a prologue bythe UD rector Jaime Oraá, it depicts the history of this university institution. It has been published by the Dr.Camino Institute of History of San Sebastian.

    Still time to enrol

    If you want to study at the University of Deusto, you still have time to enrol. The General Secretariat will be open in August, if you want to submit your application. In September, you still have another enrolment period, although you will have to check first whether there are still places available in the degree of your choice. At Deusto, you will find a University with an international approach, quality teaching and personalised attention. If you are interested in doing a postgraduate course, you must submit your application by 22 September.

    Both institutions commit themselves to promote the internationalisation of Spanish companies

    The Spanish Institute for Foreign Trade (ICEX), and the Spanish Association of Business School Representatives (AEEDE), have signed an agreement to promote the internationalisation of Spanish companies. The signing of this agreement was attended by representatives of the member business schools of AEEDE. Some of them included: Susana Rodríguez Vidarte, Dean of La Comercial faculty (Faculty of Economics and Business Administration at Deusto, Bilbao campus), and Víctor Urcelay, dean of ESTE faculty (Faculty of Economics and Business Administration at Deusto, San Sebastian campus).

    The UD Board of Management holds its July meeting in San Sebastian

    Last 13 July, the Board of Management of the University of Deusto met at San Sebastian campus to hold its monthly session. The members of the Board dealt with a number of relevant issues for the good running of the centre, such as the process of pedagogical innovation and teacher training in which the University of Deusto is immersed, in the interests of ensuring its integration in Europe, as established in the Bologna declaration.
