The Faculty of Economics and Business Administration welcomes 89 foreign students, and holds a corporate meeting based on practical experiences

Today, Monday, 18 September,a conference will be held at ESTE, the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration at the University of Deusto in San Sebastian; itwill be focused on a reflection on internationalisation applied both to the university and the business spheres. In the morning, the programme will include a welcoming ceremony for those foreign students studying at this Faculty this year; in the afternoon, a Corporate Meeting will be held on "Redes de Internacionalización de las PYMES Vascas" during which, the challenges faced by Basque SMEs in the sphere of internationalisation wil be examined through successful corporate practical experiences.

This conference starts with a lecture on Dutch universities

On 13, 14 and 15 September, the Vice-Rector's Office for Innovation and Quality at the University of Deusto, and the Institute of Education Sciencesare holding the 2nd University Conference on Innovation and Quality: Good Academic Practices. On the first day, Aurelio Villa, Vice-Rector's Office for Innovation and Quality, opened this conference and then, Geurt van Hardeveld, University Teaching inspector at Utrecht (The Netherlands) gave the first lecture on 'Las buenas prácticas en las universidades holandesas'.

The UD renews the positions of the General Secretary and the Deans of the Faculties of Law, Philosophy and Education Sciences and Humanities

Last 11 September, the University of Deusto renewed the positions of the General Secretary José Luis Avila and the Deans of the Faculties of Law, Juan Echano; of Philosopy and Education Sciences, Susana Gorbeña; and Humanities, José Angel Achón. The General Secretary was the master of ceremoniesat this event, held in the Salón de Grados hall, and presided over by the Chairman of the Board of Governors, Jesús María Eguíluz, and the Rector, Jaime Oraá.

The University of Deusto and the business sector join to train experts in sales management

Last 7 September, the University of Deusto signed a collaboration agreement with the main companies in the field of sales management to put in motion an MA in Sales Management. This Master's Degree will start at this academic institution in October. Along with the Director of the Institute of Postgraduate Studies and Continuing Education at Deusto, Miguel Angel Escotet, this event was attended by the heads of some of the collaborating companies, such as EITB, Vasías and Bridgestone.
