DEUSTO reflects on Human Rights and Social Work: ethical issues in the care of people in situations of exclusion

On the occasion of the International Day of Human Rights, DEUSTO Department of Social Work and Sociology organised the XIV Conference on Human Rights and Social Work under the theme of: "Ethical issues in the care of people in situation of exclusion " with the participation of Mª Jesús Goikoetxea, doctor in Human Rights and graduate in Psychology and Theology from the University of Deusto.

Human Rights Day is celebrated every year on the 10th of December commemorating the adoption in 1948 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights by the UN General Assembly. Each year, Human Rights Day offers everyone the opportunity to renew the spirit of humanity's long struggle for rights and dignity and to mobilize against poverty and inequality, violence, exclusion and discrimination.
