All the subjects in this degree programme are taught entirely in English. Thanks to this additional training you will acquire:
- The necessary competences to work in the sphere of international law
- The necessary skills to respond to the challenges facing an increasingly globalised world
By adding one subject to each year of study on your Bachelor’s degree in Law or Bachelor’s degree in Law + Specialism, you will have complemented your studies with international training in four years.
The Skills for International Lawyers programme also includes, as part of the course activities, preparation for the TOLES (Test of legal English Skills) examination, an optional test at an additional cost that you can sit at the university.
Throughout the year, students will practise their oral and written English legal skills and will also do practice exam papers and reading comprehension practice tests to help familiarise them with the layout of the exam on the day of the test.
TOLES (Test of legal English Skills)
This exam is an internationally recognised legal English certificate that has been specifically designed for Law students and practitioners working in legal departments at multinational companies. It is recognised by a large number of institutions, law firms and international companies as providing a genuinely strong foundation of legal English. This exam is accredited by the Law Society of England and Wales.
