With this Double Degree…

  • You will understand the vision of social reality provided by the field of Law, legislation and political institutions…
  • You will be able to analyse reality from other perspectives, such as:

-The public opinion
-Different ideological options
-The media perspective

  • You will understand lawyers’ priorities related to the creation and defence of a State of Law and individual freedoms and rights.
  • You will become familiar with the role of the journalist, responsible for informing the public truthfully.
  • You will acquire legal training that will provide you with the necessary competences to offer legal advice and analysis in the field of public institutions, private bodies and the communication sector.
  • You will be able to write news items, articles and reports in any format.
  • You will address the communication needs of an institution, political party, business…,
  • You will develop interpersonal communication skills.
  • You will learn to work in a multimedia and digital environment.

And all this, how?

  • Taught sessions based on practice focused theoretical lectures.
  • Participation in workshops and role plays on how to solve potential conflicts and those already existing.
  • Working in a television or radio studio, and being part of OREKA, the multimedia communication group at the San Sebastian campus.
  • Performing successfully in an increasingly international context where information and communication technologies play a major role.

Choose the destination, the university and get your career off the ground

As a student on the Double Degree programme you will have the opportunity to go to a foreign university as part of the Erasmus programme, which will allow you to know other cultures and continue with your Law studies learning other countries' legislations.

Your guide through your learning experience

The tutorial plan is intended to help students adapt to the University.

  • A team to welcome and assist you in adapting during the first year of study
  • You will have a course tutor you can talk things through with, if you need so.
  • Assessing you individually or with a group on academic, personal and/or professional aspects.

You will also have academic tutorials with each subject lecturer, if you need so. These tutorials will be useful to answer your questions or difficulties with the subject and guide you in your activities and work.
