An added skill for a global world
International Management Skills is a Deusto degree, offered in combination with the Bachelor’s degree in Business Management and Administration at the San Sebastian campus. This degree aims to provide further insight into skills acquired by students on the Bachelor’s degree and focus on the managerial skills needed to lead businesses and organisations in a global and multicultural environment.
What the degree covers
This Deusto degree is fully taught in English and it comprises 45 ECTS credits over 4 years so that it complements the Bachelor’s degree in Business Management and Administration (from 1st to 4th year).

The programme focuses on communication skills, negotiation techniques and on teamwork and leadership skills in multicultural environments.
Second foreign language for business
To choose between German, French and Chinese
This module will focus on a second foreign language for business, as a key tool for communication between people from different countries and cultures.

Cross-cultural communication, Global business context, Intercultural immersion programme…
In the 2018/19 academic year, the Intercultural Immersion Programme was held in India over 10 summer days and included lectures, visits to companies and an NGO, and a socio-cultural programme.
International internships
Professional internship
Students will be required to do an internship abroad or at a local company in an area or department with strong interactions with other countries particularly in a foreign language.
Practical training
Your training will be action-oriented and very practical. From your first year, the programme includes seminars and workshops so that you can put into practice the theoretical knowledge you have acquired, or discuss real case studies. The programme includes the participation of visiting lecturers from international universities and business leaders. There are also visits to companies so that they can know first-hand about their experience in international markets.
