Language Skills

Students have the opportunity to complete some of their credits in Basque and/or English.

Each year students can opt to study subjects in Basque and/or English. Students who opt for one language (Basque or English) must enrol in all subjects offered in that particular course in their chosen language for that year.

Idiomas
Basque (optional) English (optional)

Students will be able to study  more than 40% of the ECTS credits in the Basque language. If students obtain 72 ECTS in the Basque language they will receive the corresponding certificate of fluency in Basque.

During the course of the degree, students are obliged to study two subjects (12 ECTS) in English; they may also choose to increase the number of subjects studied in English, being able to study up to 50% of the ECTS credits in English. In the event of completing 72 ECTS in English, students will receive the corresponding certificate of fluency in English.

English levels:
Two levels of fluency in English have been established that students will have to pass at two different moments during the degree:

tabla
Level B2
For access to the first part of the undergraduate degree in Business Management and Administration. Students can demonstrate their fluency at this level with a pass in the Cambridge University First Certificate exam, or a similar qualification. Students not in possession of any of these accreditations will have to pass an English test on the day of the admissions test.
tabla
Level C1 for general and business English
Before receiving the final degree in Business Management and Administration. Students must demonstrate their fluency at this level with a pass in the Cambridge University Certificate of Advanced English, or a similar qualification, if they are to avoid the department’s internal test.
