Rebeca Cortázar holds a BA and a PhD in Computing from the University of Deusto. She is currently a professor at the Department of Computing, University of Deusto, teaching at the Bilbao campus.She teaches BA courses on the BSc in Computing Engineering. Specifically, she teaches about “Software Requirements” and “Software Design” (in English), as well as “Software Process and Quality”. She has participated in several research projects about Software Quality Assurance and she is experienced in international projects related to Higher Education (EU Tempus and Atlantis programmes). Her research and educational interest include Object Orientation, Software Measurement and Effort Estimation, Software Processes and Education in the Software Engineering field. Her publications are mainly focused on those areas, and she has been appointed as a member of several programme committees for international conferences.
