Holds a BA in Political and Administration Sciences from the University of the Basque Country and a PhD from Deusto University. He is a currently Lecturer/Professor at the University of Deusto, where he teaches at the Donostia Campus BA courses on Social Work. Specifically, he teaches the following subjects: ‘Gizarte zerbitzuak ongizate estatuan’ and 'Gizarte egitura eta aldaketa' in Basque and ‘Observatorio de Políticas Sociales’ in Spanish. His publications mainly focus on social policy and social care gobernance analysis. He is part of ‘Deusto Social Values’ research team. Other research interests include the political and electoral analysis. He is the director of the Master in intervention with people in situations of vulnerability and social exclusion.
