Cinta Guinot holds a Diploma in Social Work and a BA in Social and Cultural Anthropology from the University of the Basque Country. She is currently a lecturer at the University of Deusto, where she teaches at the Donostia campus. Cinta Guinot teaches BA courses on Social Work. Specifically, she teaches Intervention Models in Social Work, Family and Individual Social Work, Processes and Techniques in Social Intervention, Interviewing in Social Work, Social Work internship I, Social Work internship II and Undergraduate Final Year Project. She also teaches Social Involvement and Values, a 2nd year elective subject available for all Deusto BA students at the Donostia campus. Her publications mainly focus on areas related to social intervention with families in risk of exclusion, values, professional monitoring and mentoring, and teaching methodologies.
