The University of Deusto has just completed the selection process of the first call of the 6i Dirs project. 6i Dirs is a project funded by European Commission’s Marie Skłodowska-Curie COFUND Action aiming to recruit 19 outstanding Early Stage Researchers for doctoral training to generate international, interdisciplinary and intersectoral projects and dissertations, support and broaden their career prospects and promote their social contributions.
10 candidates have been selected via an open, transparent, merit-based, impartial, equitable and internationally advertised procedure in alignment with European Commission’s requirements.
Arriving in October 2020, the 10 qualified international Early Stage Researchers (ESRs) represent gender balance and a great diversity of geographical origins. They will take part in a high-quality PhD training, being incorporated into five doctoral programmes and 10 excellent research teams. The candidates will be also working closely with DEUSTO’s 5 interdisciplinary research platforms and 4 interdisciplinary areas.
The 6i Dirs project will launch a second call at the beginning of 2021 to recruit 9 additional researchers. Full information on the vacancies and specific requirements will soon be published at the project website.
6i Dirs project receives funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under the Marie Sklodowska-Curie grant agreement Nº847624.
