Elena Ghidoni, former MSCA fellow within the DIRS-COFUND project, has received the Benita Asas Manterola Award for research with a gender perspective in the doctoral thesis category for her PhD thesis “Developing structural intersectionality in legal analysis: the case of stereotypes as forms of discrimination”. The Benita Asas Manterola Awards make visible and recognize research with a gender perspective carried out by bachelor, master and PhD students of the University of Deusto.
This award is one of the actions of the III University Equality Plan, promoted by the Horizon 2020 European project GEARING-Roles and sponsored by Banco Sabadell-Guipuzcoano.
The awards ceremony to the winners took place last Friday, December 16, at the Icaza Auditorium, located on the ground floor of the DBS building.
Elena received the award ex aequo with the researcher Estíbaliz Linares, for her work “El Iceberg Digital Machista. Análisis, prevención e intervención de las realidades machistas digitales que se reproducen en la natividad digital de la CAE”.
