The Director of the programme is responsible for the proper academic focus and providing students with support and guidance on a permanent basis. A programme secretary will also be on hand to assist students.
Student Guidance and Support Service
The university also offers a Student Guidance Service that offers psychopedagogical support to deal with students’ possible difficulties, specialist courses to boost and round off learning (study techniques, anxiety management, public speaking, job search techniques, etc.) and a Curriculum Adaptation Unit.
Students with special needs are assisted by this Student Guidance Service, jointly with the directors of the Master’s programme, who are responsible for monitoring their proper integration (learning/teaching, research, internships and social network).
International Relations Office
Foreign students may also receive assistance from the International Relations Office during this stage of their integration in the programme. The office offers information and ongoing assistance for:
- Visa applications
- Residence permits
- Housing and accommodation
- Medical services and insurance
- Local services
The university also offers other support and guidance services such as:
- Courses on how to use the Library
- Labour Market Integration Service (DeustoAlumni)
- Social Work Service
Once students have enrolled, they are assigned a tutor who will guide, support and supervise their work.
