Summer Course in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language

Duration and methodology

Duration

25 hours

Final assignment deadline: 06/28/2021

The connections for the synchronous sessions (with video conference) will be made on 14, 16, 18, 21, 23, and 25 June from 16:00 to 17:30.

Language

Language of instruction: Spanish. A minimum knowledge of Spanish B2 is recommended.

Methodology

Different types of practical activities are proposed which involve analysing, adapting and designing teaching materials and resources applied to the teaching of grammar, accompanied by a reflection on the criteria necessary for this. The participants will work in groups and build their knowledge together.

Technical requirements

 

In order to take the course, participants must:

  • Have a computer with webcam, audio, and microphone

Evaluation

A continuous evaluation will be carried out throughout the course and special attention will be paid to the monitoring of the objectives achieved in the different modules.

This will be taken into account in the evaluation:

  • the reflection provided in forums.
  • the performance of the tasks of each module.
  • the accomplishment of the final task: the elaboration of a didactic unit.
