Introduction

Bloomberg Room

Deusto Business School has the Bloomberg Room available to all the participants on the Master’s in Finance. The Master's subjects that are taught in this room allow students to gain further work experience in a real work environment right from the classroom.

The Bloomberg Room has terminals where students can find and analyse financial market information virtually in real time. This will allow them to have global economic information to perform a top-down analysis by country or issuer, as well as corporate accounting information, news and information needed to perform a bottom-up fundamental credit or equity analysis; it will also allow them to access one of the largest networks of professionals in the world of finance and provide them with a wide variety of analytical tools.

All this is based on a historical database of financial assets of the highest quality: stock indices, assets, currencies, government bonds, raw materials, investment funds, global statistics and economic data from different suppliers. In addition, the platform will allow participants to simulate asset purchase and sale transactions in its electronic platform. This information is especially useful for Master's subjects such as Fixed Income, Equities, Derivatives, Fundamental Analysis and Technical Analysis or Equity Management, among others.

The Bloomberg room has a sufficient number of screens so that all the participants on the Master’s course can attend classes comfortably and use their own screens in small groups.
