Internships

Interships

All students of the Master’s in Finance realise an internship in a company accounting for 6 ECTS. These are some of the companies where our students have done their interships:

  • Iberdrola (Financial Department)
  • Fineco
  • KPMG (Strategy Department)
  • Guardian Industries (Financial Department)
  • Gescrap (Financial controller)
  • Erhardt (Financial & International Department)

The main objective of the internship is to allow students to experience professional activity - for a determined length of time and under the supervision of a tutor – in order to apply the skills learnt in the classroom to solve tasks or problems that arise.

The internships will involve activities closely linked to the content of the Master’s. Provided that the internship contributes to the reinforcement and further development of both specific and generic skills, the destination of the work experience may be suggested by the department or proposed by the student. Those responsible for the Master’s, in collaboration with the company where you realise the internship, will define the scope, content and objectives of the tasks to be performed.

At the end of the internship the student must produce a final report. Throughout the process, students will be supported by a tutor who will supervise and guide them in the preparation of the final report and try to ensure that the student is able to make the maximum use of the experience.
