Master’s degree in Intervention in Cases of Violence Against Women

Programme

Internships

Internship agreements

Students will undertake internships in public and private organisations, etc.: city councils, courts, public institutions and associations working with gender violence (attending victims and/or abusers), awareness raising, courses and promotion of equality between men and women.

Upon completion of the internship, students must submit an internship report:

This Master’s degree programme currently has nearly 20 agreements with partner institutions for internships. The following centres have hosted our student interns in recent years.
The Project must comply with the University´s General Regulations and each Faculty´s specific requirements. Students will be informed in advance about the process they must follow to apply for the viva voce examination, the copies and/or documents to submit, deadlines, venue, duration and their order of exposition.

Assessment and grading system of the MFP

Each project will be assessed by a board formed by three lecturers from the Master´s degree programme. Students will defend their project in a 15 to 20 minute viva voce examination. Following the defence, the board members will make comments and ask questions and students will have their turn to respond. Those attending the defence, including the student´s tutor, may also take part in the dialogue with previous authorization of the chairman of the examining committee.

Once all the projects have been defended, the board members will hold an assessment session to determine the grades and sign the official records.
Projects will be assessed in compliance with the level of competences achieved during this activity and the tutor´s report will be taken into account, which will also focus on the competences envisaged in the programme.
