This Master’s course has a strong professional orientation and seeks to train practitioners to interact with minors in situations of vulnerability and/or social conflict and their contexts to achieve changes, promote their development and improve their living conditions using methods and models of intervention and mediation that are adequate for each situation.
The main aims of this Master’s degree programme are to train professionals:
- specialised in social intervention and mediation concerning minors in situations of vulnerability and/or social conflict through the use of advanced methodological techniques and tools;
- who are socially committed and have high ethical standards;
- are guided by the quality and innovation of their actions, as well as engaged in their continuing professional development; and
- with an interdisciplinary and holistic approach to intervention that takes into account the many factors involved, which provide coordinated responses to the psychosocial and institutional needs created by those situations of vulnerability and social conflict in which minors are involved.
